Rand Mutual Assurance has launched a multi-million-rand STEAM Project at Botlhabelo High School in Brits, North West, aimed at equipping 150 learners with critical technical skills. Rand Mutual Assurance (RMA) has launched a multi-million-rand STEAM Project at Botlhabelo High School in Brits, North West, targeting 150 learners in Further Education and Training. The initiative, in collaboration with INSETA, the North West Department of Education, and Northam Platinum Mines, aims to address South Africa's shortage of technical skills in engineering, ICT, and financial services.
The program includes academic support in mathematics, physical sciences, and accounting, along with career guidance and access to educational opportunities. The initiative is part of RMA's broader social impact strategy to enhance education and economic participation in rural communities.
