RCT Hydrogen to Commence Electrolyzer Production in Thuringia, Germany in 2025
RCT GH GmbH (RCT Hydrogen) will begin manufacturing electrolyzer stacks in Thuringia, Germany, in Q1 2025, targeting megawatt hydrogen projects for industrial clients using a 'hydrogen-as-a-service' model. Cooperation agreements signed on December 22, 2025, will facilitate the establishment of a production facility with an annual capacity of 250 MW, starting with a 2.5 MW electrolyzer in Q1 2026.
Delivery to a German industrial customer is scheduled for Q3 2026. RCT Hydrogen's alkaline pressure electrolyzers will support the transition from gray to green hydrogen, benefiting from partnerships with Guofuhee for cost-optimized production.
Collaborations with Siemens Digital Industries are underway to develop control components and software for the hydrogen production processes. RCT Hydrogen, a joint venture between RCT Group and Guofuhee, plans to expand its hydrogen production capabilities in Europe and Africa.
