Rebellions Unveils Energy-Efficient AI Accelerator Rebel-Quad with Rapid Development Timeline

Rebellions introduced its AI accelerator, Rebel-Quad, at Hot Chips 2025, achieving up to 2,048 teraflops with 50% lower power consumption compared to leading GPUs. The chip reached the market just five weeks after first silicon due to the use of Synopsys' EDA tools, including VCS, ZeBu, Virtualizer, and the Verification Continuum.

Rebel-Quad is designed for high-performance AI data centers, featuring a four-homogeneous chiplet SoC with 144 GB of high-bandwidth memory. Rebellions aimed for fast development and validation, achieving 98% accuracy in performance predictions with Synopsys tools. The company emphasizes the importance of energy efficiency and rapid time-to-market for modern AI data centers, which face growing power demands.
