Recall Effort Launched Against All Seven Augusta Township Officials Over Data Center Proposal
Wendy Albers has initiated a recall petition against all seven elected officials in Augusta Township, Michigan, due to their unanimous support for rezoning land for a proposed data center by Thor Equities. The Washtenaw County election commission approved the petition wording on February 11. Albers needs 941 valid signatures to place the recall on the ballot for the November election. The township voters will decide on the rezoning on August 4.
