re:cap Global Investors Advises FP Lux Fund on 220 MWh Battery Project Acquisition in Finland
The FP Lux European Battery Storage Fund has acquired a 220 MWh project in Finland, enhancing its portfolio focused on energy transition. This investment aligns with the fund's strategy to leverage the growth of battery storage technology across Europe.

re:cap Global Investors has facilitated the acquisition of a 220 MWh battery storage project, the Alapitkä Battery Park, located in Lapinlahti, Finland. Developed by SMA Altenso and Infinergies Finland Oy, the project will commence construction in Spring 2026, with commissioning expected in the second half of 2027.
The facility will utilize SMA's advanced grid-forming inverter technology. The FP Lux Fund aims to build a diverse portfolio of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across Europe, focusing on key markets including Germany and Scandinavia. Additionally, re:cap recently supported the acquisition of a 50 MW, 100 MWh project in Freiberg, Germany, set to go online in Q2 2027, which will also enhance local grid stability.
