Redelfi and WRM Form Joint Venture for Data Center Development in Italy
Redelfi has signed a term sheet with WRM to establish a joint venture focused on developing data centers in Italy. The new entity, NewCo, will be 51% owned by Redelfi and 49% by WRM, aiming to invest in digital infrastructure over the next two years.
Redelfi will manage the technical operations under a Development Services Agreement, receiving payments for reaching specific project milestones. This venture builds on their existing partnership in the Bright Storage joint venture, which focuses on Battery Energy Storage Systems.
The collaboration will leverage Redelfi's expertise in energy infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency by integrating BESS with data centers, which have high energy demands. This agreement marks a strategic diversification for Redelfi into digital infrastructure.
