Reliance Industries Signs $3 Billion Green Ammonia Supply Agreement with Samsung C&T
Reliance Industries has signed a 15-year, $3 billion supply deal with Samsung C&T to provide green ammonia, starting in FY2029. This agreement positions India as a key exporter of green fuels and aligns with the National Green Hydrogen Mission. The deal is among the largest global long-term green ammonia agreements, supporting the growth of Reliance's New Energy platform, which focuses on renewable energy, energy storage, and in-house manufacturing of clean-energy technologies.

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has signed a binding long-term supply agreement with Samsung C&T Corporation from South Korea for green ammonia worth over $3 billion, commencing in the second half of FY2029. This agreement supports India's National Green Hydrogen Mission and positions the country as an emerging exporter of green fuels.
RIL's New Energy platform integrates renewable energy, energy storage, and the domestic manufacturing of critical clean-energy technologies, including solar modules and electrolyser systems. The partnership marks the first of several long-term offtake agreements to enhance RIL's green hydrogen ecosystem and aims to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2035.
