Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has signed a $3 billion, 15-year supply agreement with Samsung C&T Corporation for green ammonia, commencing in the second half of FY2029. This contract is among the largest global offtake agreements for green ammonia, positioning India as a key exporter of clean fuels.

The initiative aligns with India's National Green Hydrogen Mission and supports the development of an integrated clean energy ecosystem at RIL's Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The agreement is expected to enhance Reliance's green hydrogen and ammonia production capabilities, contributing to India's clean energy goals and manufacturing base.
