Reliance Industries has entered a 15-year agreement with Samsung C&T to supply green ammonia worth over $3 billion, with deliveries starting in the second half of fiscal year 2029. This agreement is recognized as one of the largest long-term green ammonia contracts worldwide, addressing the growing demand for low-carbon fuels in markets like Japan and South Korea.
Reliance is advancing a clean-energy manufacturing ecosystem, which includes solar modules, battery storage systems, and electrolysers. This partnership aligns with Reliance's strategy to invest $10 billion in renewable energy and hydrogen, expanding its operations beyond traditional oil and chemicals.
