Reliance Industries Signs $3 Billion Green Ammonia Supply Agreement with Samsung C&T for 15 Years
Reliance Industries Ltd. has entered a binding $3 billion supply agreement with South Korea's Samsung C&T for green ammonia over 15 years, starting in the second half of FY2029. This agreement is among the largest globally and positions India as an emerging exporter of green fuels. It supports India's National Green Hydrogen Mission and aims for self-reliance in clean-energy technologies.

Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL) signed a long-term supply agreement valued at over $3 billion with Samsung C&T Corporation for green ammonia over 15 years, commencing in the second half of FY2029. This deal, one of the largest globally, positions India as an exporter of green fuels through an indigenous value chain, including domestic manufacturing of clean-energy technologies. RIL's New Energy platform integrates renewable energy, energy storage, and downstream green fuels, supporting India's National Green Hydrogen Mission and aligning with the government's focus on self-reliance in energy technologies.
