On January 11, 2026, Mukesh Ambani announced at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference that Reliance Jio will launch an artificial intelligence (AI) language platform aimed at providing services in local languages. The platform will utilize the AI data center being developed in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
Ambani also unveiled plans to double Reliance's investment in Gujarat to ₹7 trillion over the next five years, building on previous investments of ₹3.5 trillion. Additional commitments include establishing Gujarat as a leader in clean energy, transforming Kutch into a global clean energy hub, supporting India's Olympic ambitions, and expanding healthcare and educational infrastructure in the region.
