Reliance MET City, developed over nearly 20 years, currently hosts over 650 companies from 11 countries and has generated more than 40,000 jobs. The integrated ecosystem reflects the evolving manufacturing landscape in India, where effective execution of industrial policies is crucial for attracting investment and enhancing operational efficiency.
Haryana's Enterprise and Employment Policy aims to simplify compliance for enterprises, particularly MSMEs, while recent updates focus on infrastructure reliability and workforce stability. The township includes a 220 KV GIS Substation for uninterrupted power, and about 3,000 residential plots have been sold, indicating successful integration of living and working spaces.
Sustainability is prioritized with IGBC Platinum and LEED certifications, as well as smart infrastructure initiatives. Future developments at MET City aim to enhance the live-work ecosystem, aligning with the state’s updated industrial policy anticipated soon.
