Relocation of Aerial Power Cables in Taungoo for Railway Project
The relocation of aerial power cables in Taungoo is part of a bypass railway and urban expansion project. This initiative aims to enhance power distribution efficiency and address the infrastructure needs of the region.

The aerial power cables in Taungoo will be relocated due to the construction of a bypass railway and urban expansion. On December 24, Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun inspected the project area, focusing on the relocation of 230 KV and 33 KV aerial power cables that are affected by the construction activities.
The 500 KV Phayargyi Substation project is currently 92% complete, with ongoing efforts to finalize it. Additionally, the Union Minister stressed the importance of timely completion of the relocation to minimize power outages and losses. Regular inspections of electrical infrastructure will be crucial for operational reliability.
