CIRCULAR ECONOMY & RECYCLING

Renewable Parts was named Energy and Renewables Manufacturer of the Year at the Made in Scotland Awards 2025, recognizing its leadership in remanufacturing and circular economy practices. The award emphasizes the company's commitment to extending the lifespan of wind turbine components and reducing waste.

The partnership with the University of Strathclyde's AMRL received a CeeD Award for its circular economy model, aimed at mitigating waste from decommissioned wind turbines in Scotland. With an estimated 5,600 turbines set for decommissioning by 2050, the initiative focuses on refurbishing parts to minimize landfill impact. The awards were announced on March 6 in Glasgow.
