RES Achieves 3GW Milestone in Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems in Northern Europe
RES has surpassed 3GW of solar and battery energy storage systems under operations and maintenance contracts in Northern Europe, contributing to a total of 4GW of renewable energy assets across the region. The portfolio includes over 3GW of solar and storage capacity and 1GW of wind capacity. RES has expanded its UK solar and BESS portfolio significantly and remains a key player in asset management, maintaining second place in Wood Mackenzie's global Solar PV O&M ranking.

RES has achieved over 3GW of solar and battery energy storage systems under operations and maintenance contracts in Northern Europe, supporting a total of 4GW of renewable energy assets, including 1GW of wind capacity. The company has 3.4GW of solar and storage assets under O&M, with global support for over 45GW across various renewable technologies.
RES has provided BESS asset management services in the UK since 2018, managing 18 BESS projects with a combined capacity exceeding 1.5GW. Recent contracts include the Cleve Hill Solar Park O&M and Coalburn battery facility management. RES ranks second in Wood Mackenzie's global Solar PV O&M ranking and was named Asset Manager of the Year.
