Residents to Hold 'Stop Project Tango' Rally Against AI Data Center in Arden

DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE

On February 7, a 'Stop Project Tango' rally will take place at Lakehouse Lawn in Arden to oppose a proposed AI hyperscale data center near 20-Mile Bend. The plan involves a 3.69 million square foot development, including 1.8 million square feet for the data center.

Organizers from Arden aim to raise $10,000 to $15,000 for lobbying efforts. The Palm Beach County Commission postponed a decision on the project until April 23, following concerns from residents about electricity, water usage, environmental damage, and noise affecting local schools. The Western Palm Beach Community Alliance has been formed to support fundraising for this opposition.
