The Columbia Shuswap Regional District (CSRD) has secured $2.8 million from Canada's Build Communities Strong Fund and the Union of BC Municipalities' Strategic Priorities Fund to establish a septage receiving station in collaboration with the City of Revelstoke. This facility will enable the direct pumping of septic waste into the upgraded wastewater treatment plant, set for commissioning in November 2026.
