Revive Environmental Processes Toxic Firefighting Foam in Columbus, Ohio
Revive Environmental in Columbus, Ohio, is processing 13,700 gallons of AFFF firefighting foam containing PFAS using heat, pressure, and hydrogen peroxide, as part of a state Takeback program for 2024. The foam was collected from various fire departments, and Revive is also contracted for similar initiatives in New Hampshire and North Carolina. A report detailing the process will be submitted to the Ohio EPA upon completion.
