Revive Environmental Processes Toxic Firefighting Foam in Columbus, Ohio

Revive Environmental in Columbus, Ohio, is processing 13,700 gallons of AFFF firefighting foam containing PFAS through heat, pressure, and hydrogen peroxide. The foam was collected from various fire departments as part of a 2024 state Takeback program.

Revive is also contracted to work with New Hampshire and North Carolina on similar projects. Upon completion, a report will be submitted to the Ohio EPA.
