Reward Minerals (ASX:RWD) is preparing for its maiden drilling at the Mountain Pond project in Newfoundland, having obtained high-grade assays from the Jackpot prospect. Recent results include gold grades of 8.16 g/t, 4.61 g/t, and 4.26 g/t, alongside copper concentrations up to 0.65%.
Drilling permits are anticipated within four weeks, enabling immediate commencement. Notably, the previously untested Mountain Pond area presents an opportunity for discovery. The company is also focusing on the Bingo prospect, which returned 1.55 g/t gold, enhancing its priority status.
The project consists of 41 claims over 10 sq. km, located 7 km from Springdale. The exploration's success could significantly impact future resource development and investment interest in the region.
