Rhebo Collaborates with Leipziger Wasserwerke to Enhance OT Cybersecurity
Leipziger Wasserwerke (LWW) partners with Rhebo to improve cybersecurity in operational technology (OT) systems. The collaboration focused on validating LWW's security architecture, establishing a complete asset inventory, analyzing communication flows, and identifying vulnerabilities. Rhebo conducted an Industrial Security Assessment through passive network monitoring over two weeks, leading to concrete risk mitigation measures and enhanced transparency across LWW's OT network.

Leipziger Wasserwerke (LWW) serves over 660,000 people in the Leipzig region and operates five waterworks and 25 wastewater treatment plants. To enhance its cybersecurity for operational technology (OT), LWW collaborated with Rhebo to validate its security setup and identify vulnerabilities.
The partnership involved establishing a complete asset inventory and analyzing communication flows within the OT network. Rhebo performed a structured Industrial Security Assessment using passive network monitoring over two weeks. The assessment led to the identification of risks, definition of hardening measures, and improved transparency in LWW's OT assets and communication structures.
