Rio Branco Allocates R$ 3 Million in Supplementary Credits for Culture, Education, and Technology
The Rio Branco City Hall published three decrees opening R$ 3,060,502.36 in supplementary credits for 2026, signed by Mayor Tião Bocalom. The funds aim to enhance culture, education, and technology sectors through internal budget reallocations. Notable allocations include R$ 150,000 for cultural events, R$ 1.5 million for the Department of Education, and R$ 1,410,502.36 for modernizing the municipal Data Center.

Rio Branco's City Hall authorized R$ 3,060,502.36 in supplementary credits for 2026 through three decrees. R$ 150,000 is allocated for cultural events via the Municipal Culture Foundation, funded by reallocating resources from the Municipal Infrastructure Secretary.
R$ 1.5 million is designated for the Department of Education's operational activities, compensated by cuts within the same department. Additionally, R$ 1,410,502.36 is directed towards modernizing the municipal Data Center, funded by canceling previous allocations for IT services. These measures aim to enhance the city's cultural, educational, and technological capabilities.
