Rio Tinto has announced a proposal for a drilling program in Queensland's Gulf Rivers region, seeking feedback from stakeholders until April 2. The program includes establishing up to 100 drill sites and approximately 35 kilometers of access tracks, impacting up to 55ha of the Gulf Rivers Strategic Environmental Area.
The exploration aims to assess copper mineralization potential, utilizing non-ground disturbing techniques like geological mapping and sampling.
