Riot Platforms Appoints Jason Chung as CFO Effective March 1, 2026

Riot Platforms, Inc. announced the appointment of Jason Chung as Chief Financial Officer, effective March 1, 2026. Chung, currently Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Development & Strategy, will succeed Colin Yee, who has served as CFO since 2022 and will transition to a Senior Advisor role.

Chung aims to align Riot's financial framework with long-term strategic objectives while consolidating finance and strategy functions. He has two decades of experience in investment banking and corporate finance, enhancing Riot's financial strategy as the company expands in digital infrastructure.

His annual base salary will increase from $500,000 to $550,000. Riot, involved in Bitcoin mining and data center projects, seeks to strengthen its position in the digital infrastructure sector under Chung's leadership.
