RMZ to Invest $35 Billion in Data Center Expansion to 2-3 GW Capacity
RMZ plans a $35 billion investment to enhance its data center capacity to 2-3 gigawatts by 2028. This initiative positions RMZ to capitalize on India's growing demand for digital infrastructure and AI capabilities.

RMZ aims to expand its data center capacity to 2-3 gigawatts within five years, driven by a significant $35 billion investment. Currently, the company operates with 250 megawatts and is finalizing discussions for three projects that will increase capacity to over 1 gigawatt.
By year-end, RMZ intends to acquire land capable of supporting an additional 2 gigawatts. The broader Indian digital infrastructure sector anticipates over $50 billion in investments across data centers and AI ecosystems, intensifying competition in this market. RMZ's existing capacity was established through a joint venture with Colt Data Centre Services, and further growth opportunities are being explored.
