Rock Tech Lithium Advances to Operational Phase with Guben Converter Project
Rock Tech Lithium is transitioning from planning to operational activities as it aims to produce battery-grade lithium hydroxide. The company's key project is a planned lithium hydroxide converter in Guben, Brandenburg, with a target output of 24,000 tons per year, classified under the EU Critical Raw Materials Act.
To enhance profitability, Rock Tech has implemented several strategic measures to facilitate project financing and industrial partnerships. Additionally, a second converter is being developed in Red Rock, Ontario, supported by the new CAD 500 million Critical Minerals Processing Fund, launched on December 15, 2025.
The company's Georgia Lake lithium project in Ontario aims to establish a regional supply chain. Recent market activity shows the stock closed at 1.02 CAD, despite a 12.07% drop, remaining above long-term averages. Key milestones will be evaluated in the upcoming quarterly report expected in April 2026, focusing on financing, construction progress, and timelines.
