Romania's RePowerEU Program Enables Prosumer to Install Energy Storage System
SOLAR ENERGYENERGY STORAGE
A prosumer in Romania installed a 7 kWh battery system through the RePowerEU program after facing bureaucratic challenges with European funding. The installation, completed in January 2025, allows for energy independence by storing solar energy for evening use.
The process involved signing up for the program, selecting an installer, and providing necessary documentation. The project was supported by Nova Power&Gas and Ensys, with the battery being a Huawei Luna2000 model. The prosumer plans to enhance their photovoltaic setup in the future without incurring costs due to EU funding.
