Rovithis Brothers Launch Next Level Cowork Space in Agawam with Community Focus

ENERGY STORAGE

The Rovithis brothers, Steven and Adam, have opened Next Level Cowork Space in Agawam's industrial park, offering private offices at $250 per month and open desks at $99 per month. They emphasize a community atmosphere over a corporate feel, with plans to focus on the success of the Agawam location before considering expansion.

Concurrently, Agawam is undergoing significant developments, including a $226 million high school project, a new $14 million police station, and various new businesses, such as an Ollie's Bargain Outlet. A proposed lithium-ion battery storage facility by Long Road Energy has faced community opposition but is being reviewed by the city for safety compliance. The battery facility aims for 250 megawatts of capacity, part of a state initiative to secure 5,000 megawatts by 2030, with Agawam's project expected to be resubmitted for future rounds.
