Rowan Digital Infrastructure will invest in the Edwards Aquifer Authority's conservation program to offset water use for its Cinco data center in Medina County, Texas. The investment is projected to achieve a 250 percent offset.
Funds will support the Edwards Aquifer Conservancy, aiding regional farmers in transitioning to more efficient irrigation systems. The 440-acre data center will have a 300MW capacity and is expected to be operational by 2027. Rowan's commitment includes implementing a cooling system that limits water consumption and promotes water reuse.
