Rs 1,300 Crore Green Ammonia Plant Planned in Hatod Industrial Area
A public sector undertaking is investing Rs 1,300 crore in a 70 KTPA green ammonia facility in Madhya Pradesh, enhancing the region's green energy landscape. This initiative supports local industrial growth, expected to generate significant employment and attract further investments.

A green ammonia plant with a capacity of 70 KTPA will be established in Hatod industrial area, backed by an investment of approximately Rs 1,300 crore. This project is part of a larger effort by the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) to develop the industrial cluster, which has already seen land allotment for 53 units and investments exceeding Rs 750 crore, potentially creating 500 jobs.
With more than 70 plots available for new investors, infrastructure improvements are underway, including a Rs 22 crore water supply pipeline. The area is gaining interest from investors, especially from Gujarat, signaling robust industrial growth.
