Rubicon Acquires Erodex to Support International Growth in Aerospace Sector
Rubicon has acquired Erodex, a UK and US manufacturer of graphite electrodes and brass tubes, marking its 85th industrial investment. This acquisition is part of Rubicon Partners Fund VI SCSp. Erodex will be led by James Kirk as CEO and Raj Rainu as CFO after the retirement of family shareholders. HSBC UK Bank plc provided debt support for the investment.

Rubicon has acquired Erodex, a manufacturer with capabilities in design, tooling, and production, known for premium graphite electrodes and brass tubes. This marks Rubicon's 85th industrial investment and the second from the Rubicon Partners Fund VI SCSp.
Erodex's new leadership will include James Kirk as CEO and Raj Rainu as CFO, focusing on international growth. HSBC UK Bank plc acted as the Sole Senior Debt Lender for this acquisition, supporting Rubicon's investment strategy in the aerospace sector.
