RusHydro to Invest $5.12 Billion in 2026 for Capacity Expansion
RusHydro plans to invest 389.9 billion rubles ($5.12 billion) in projects for 2026, focusing on enhancing power capacity. The investment supports the company's goal to exceed 44.8 GW installed capacity by 2030.

RusHydro's consolidated investment program for 2026-2030 includes an investment of 389.9 billion rubles ($5.12 billion) in 2026, facilitating the commissioning of 530.6 MW and 1,425.6 Gcal/h. Key projects are the expansion of Partizanskaya GRES by 280 MW, reconstruction of Vladivostok CHP-2 with 120 MW and 190 Gcal/h, and the second stage of Yakutsk GRES-2 with 80 MW.
The total financing for 2026-2030 is projected at 950 billion rubles ($12.47 billion), with significant new power facility construction. By 2030, RusHydro's generation assets are expected to exceed 44.8 GW, up from 38.7 GW.
Notable projects include Shkotovskaya CHP and the Nizhne-Zeyskaya HPP. Investment in small hydropower in the North Caucasus will also contribute to capacity improvements.
