Sabey Data Centers Proposes Large Data Hub in Decatur Township, Indianapolis

DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE

Sabey Data Centers plans to build a data center on 130 acres in Decatur Township, Indianapolis, near Kentucky Avenue and Camby Road. The land is zoned industrial, so the proposal will not go to the City-County Council.

City-County Councilor Josh Bain is advocating for resident protections, reflecting on past data center approvals. The Decatur Township Civic Council plans to vote on opposing the development on January 26. A public meeting to discuss the proposal was postponed and will now take place on February 26.
