Sable Altura Fire Rescue Launches Sage Ridge Substation in Watkins

Sable Altura Fire Rescue has inaugurated a substation at the Sage Ridge Supportive Residential Community Campus, aimed at improving emergency response times in the area. This facility, constructed in collaboration with Arapahoe County and the Colorado Department of Local Affairs, will serve both Arapahoe and Adams counties and will include living quarters for two firefighters.

Vocational emergency medical services training will also be offered to Sage Ridge residents. The phased staffing plan for dispatch operations is set to commence soon, enhancing operational capabilities to address wildfires and other emergencies in this transitional housing community.
