Salem-Keizer School Board Approves Sale of Two Elementary Schools and Administrative Building
The Salem-Keizer School Board will approve the sale of Fruitland Elementary, Lake Labish Elementary, and Paulus Administration Center on March 10. The district's review of real estate identified these buildings as no longer beneficial. Proceeds will fund special capital projects, with $15.5 million previously transferred to this fund for purchasing the Wells Fargo Data Center. The properties are valued at $1.02 million, $1.73 million, and $7 million respectively.

The Salem-Keizer School Board plans to approve the sale of Fruitland Elementary School, Lake Labish Elementary School, and Paulus Administration Center on March 10. Following a review of its real estate, the district determined these buildings no longer serve its needs.
Proceeds from the sales will contribute to a special capital projects fund, which had a balance of $22.39 million at the end of the 2024-25 school year. The properties are valued at $1.02 million, $1.73 million, and $7 million. The district aims to use funds from a future bond for renovations of the recently acquired Wells Fargo Data Center.
