Sallaum Lines Receives New Dual-Fuel Car Carrier for China-Focused Logistics Network
Sallaum Lines has acquired a new Panamanian-flagged dual-fuel car carrier, measuring 199.9 meters and capable of transporting 7,500 CEUs across 13 vehicle decks. The vessel, equipped with a dual-fuel engine that operates on LNG, is designed to accommodate hydrogen and natural gas-powered vehicles, as well as hazardous cargo, enhancing the company's logistics network focused on China.

Sallaum Lines has taken delivery of a new Panamanian-flagged dual-fuel car carrier measuring 199.9 meters in length and 38 meters in beam. The vessel has a design draught of 8.65 meters, a moulded depth of 14.8 meters, and capacity for 7,500 CEUs across 13 vehicle decks.
It is powered by a dual-fuel engine that operates on LNG and can transport hydrogen- and natural gas-powered vehicles, as well as hazardous cargo. Four vehicle decks are liftable to accommodate larger freight, including trailers and buses. This acquisition aligns with Sallaum Lines' strategy to create a global logistics network focused on China.
