This marks a 23% revenue increase and a significant rise in operating profit compared to the previous year. The company's semiconductor segment has been pivotal in this growth, with expectations of continued profit increases into 2026.

Samsung's preliminary earnings guidance for Q4 2025 indicates an operating profit of approximately KRW 20 trillion, reflecting strong performance driven by demand for memory chips in AI and data centers. The company estimates consolidated revenue of about KRW 93 trillion for the quarter.
This represents a 23% revenue increase and a more than threefold year-on-year rise in operating profit compared to Q4 2024, when it reported KRW 75.8 trillion in revenue and KRW 6.5 trillion in operating profit. Samsung's semiconductor segment has significantly contributed to this growth, with increased prices and shipments of high-bandwidth memory and DRAM chips.
The company reported operating profits of KRW 6.7 trillion in Q1 and KRW 4.7 trillion in Q2 of 2025, with a notable rise to KRW 12.2 trillion in Q3. Future projections suggest continued profit growth into 2026, potentially reaching around $66 billion.
