Samsung SDI and Korea East-West Power have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on global energy storage systems (ESS) and renewable energy projects. The signing took place on February 6 at StarPlus Energy in Kokomo, Indiana.

The partnership will focus on joint development and investment in domestic and international energy projects, including ESS, and will explore new business models related to renewable energy and grid stabilization. The companies plan to enhance cooperation in the energy sector and respond proactively to changes in the global supply chain. Samsung SDI is recognized for its advanced battery technologies and large-scale supply agreements with U.S. energy companies, while Korea East-West Power has extensive experience in international power projects.
