San Luis Government Initiates Upgrades to Information Highway Nodes
The provincial government of San Luis has launched a bidding process for enhancements to the Information Highway nodes in Villa de Merlo, Concarán, and Tilisarao. This initiative aims to strengthen technological infrastructure and optimize connectivity across the region, responding to increased demand for digital services.

The San Luis government has announced a bidding process to improve Information Highway nodes in three locations. These upgrades are part of a broader initiative to enhance provincial technological infrastructure, ensuring efficient digital service operations.
San Luis currently has 7,700 kilometers of fiber optic cable and 1,936 Wi-Fi antennas, providing connectivity to approximately 300,000 residents. New fiber optic rings will improve data transmission capacity and redundancy, enhancing service reliability. The Data Center, housing servers from companies like Google and Meta, has undergone significant renovations, including flooring replacement and security improvements, to support increased digital service demands.
