Santa Clarita City Council to Discuss Development Agreement with Serrano Development Group on Jan. 27
The Santa Clarita City Council will meet on January 27 to consider an agreement with Serrano Development Group for the purchase of city-owned property on Main Street, aimed at mixed-use development and parking structures. The site includes parcels acquired in 2005, 2018, and 2021, totaling approximately 0.86 acres, featuring 85 public parking spaces and a two-story commercial building.
The project is part of the Old Town Newhall Specific Plan, which includes plans for two public parking structures. Additionally, the council will review funding recommendations for the 2026 Community Services and Arts Grants program, totaling $100,000 in recommended funding. The agenda also includes consideration of purchasing three new hydrogen fuel cell transit buses.
