Santacruz Reports Q1 2026 Silver and Zinc Production Metrics
In Q1 2026, Santacruz Silver Mining Ltd. produced 1,341,499 ounces of silver and 21,640 tonnes of zinc. The increase in silver output at Bolivar, despite fewer operational days due to the Carnival holiday, highlights the company's recovery trajectory post-flooding in May 2025.

Santacruz Silver Mining Ltd. reported production totals of 1,341,499 ounces of silver, 21,640 tonnes of zinc, 2,686 tonnes of lead, and 308 tonnes of copper for Q1 2026. Bolivar mine's silver output rose 28% quarter-over-quarter to 259,635 ounces, attributed to recovery efforts from the 2025 flooding incident.
Year-over-year, silver production saw a 16% decrease, while zinc production increased by 4%. Operational challenges at Zimapan included reduced mining areas and power supply interruptions, leading to lower silver and zinc outputs. The company adopted a new disclosure method focusing on actual metal production to address silver price volatility, enhancing transparency for investors.
