SAP has achieved IT-Grundschutz certification for its data centers in Germany, reinforcing its Sovereign Cloud offerings. This milestone aligns SAP's operations with national security standards, catering to the needs of organizations requiring verifiable security measures.

SAP's data centers in Germany have successfully completed ISO/IEC 27001 certification based on IT-Grundschutz, confirming that their physical infrastructure meets Germany's security standards. This certification enhances the SAP Cloud Infrastructure, a key sovereign delivery option, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
The infrastructure includes three independent availability zones connected via SAP-owned fiber and uses BSI-approved security hardware. Certifications like C5 Type II and ISO 22301 further fortify its security posture.
