The Sarawak Government and the European Space Agency explored collaboration in the space sector during a meeting at the World Economic Forum 2026 in Switzerland. Led by Dato Sri Dr Muhammad Abdullah Zaidel and Dr Renato Krpoun, discussions focused on capacity building, education, and economic development in STEM fields. Both parties agreed on starting small-scale projects to develop Sarawak's space industry and expressed readiness to identify collaboration opportunities aligned with Sarawak's priorities and ESA's framework.
