Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has decided to significantly scale down the Neom project due to delays and budget issues. Originally planned as a futuristic city stretching 170 kilometers across the desert, the project will now adopt a more industrial focus, potentially including data centers.
Adjustments are also being made to other components, such as the Trojena ski resort, which will also be downsized. Architects are currently working on a new design for the overall concept.
