Scala and Engie Launch Latin America's Largest Data Centre Substation in Sao Paulo

Scala Data Centers and Engie Solucoes have activated a dedicated substation for Scala's data centre campus in Barueri, Sao Paulo. The substation, which is the largest dedicated data centre substation in Latin America, has a capacity of 560 MVA. The investment for this project surpassed USD 80 million (BRL 425 million), with the initial phase completed in December 2025.
