The Scala data center in Eldorado do Sul, initially planned to begin construction in 2026, currently has no set start date. The company has stated that it is still in the masterplan phase and is seeking licenses without providing specific details.

Announced in 2024 in partnership with the state government, the project has a projected investment of R$ 3 billion. The last update was in May 2025, when a government decree confirmed sufficient energy for the first phase.

Scala aims to finalize the masterplan by the second half of 2025 and assess local fiber optic availability. The site was not affected by the 2024 flood, despite the city's severe impact.
