SCG Enhances Regional Optimization in Vietnam for Sustainable Manufacturing and Exports
SCG is strengthening its Regional Optimization strategy by establishing Vietnam as a key manufacturing and export center within ASEAN. SCG Decor (SCGD) is collaborating with PRIME GROUP to increase production capacity for premium tiles due to rising demand.
The low-carbon cement sector in Vietnam is advancing to support local sales and global exports in line with the Green Building policy. SCG has invested over 7 billion USD across 28 companies in Vietnam, representing 28% of its total assets.
PRIME GROUP, a leader in decorative surfaces, reported sales of approximately 5,500 million baht and plans to enhance GP tile production from 19 million square meters in 2025 to 25.6 million square meters by 2026. SCG’s low-carbon cement initiatives align with Vietnam's 2050 Net Zero Emission commitment and the Green City policy, focusing on sustainable growth and environmental performance.
