Seatrium delivered a wind turbine installation vessel to Maersk Offshore Wind for the Empire Wind project off New York. The vessel, designed for installing large offshore wind turbines, will set sail in March.

It aims to support the wind farm's goal to supply clean energy to 500,000 homes. The vessel includes a feeder-based installation design that boosts operational efficiency and extends the operational weather window for installations.

The design complies with the US Jones Act and can be used in other regions. Seatrium's shares rose 3.2% to S$2.28 on the news.
