The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has invited proposals to establish a Programme Management Unit (PMU) to support the National Mission on Cleantech Manufacturing, announced in the Union Budget 2025. The mission aims to enhance domestic manufacturing in solar photovoltaics, wind energy, green hydrogen, and energy storage.

The selected agency will provide technical and strategic support to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), focusing on strategy design and execution, including manufacturing roadmaps for 15 priority states and the development of industrial clusters. The PMU contract will initially last for two years with a possible one-year extension.

Eligible firms must have experience in managing large-scale clean energy projects and meet specific financial criteria. The bidding process will utilize the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal, with evaluations based on technical expertise and proposed methodologies.
