SED Secures Eighth Order from Laxmi Organic for Water Recovery System
Spray Engineering Devices Limited (SED) has received its eighth consecutive order from Laxmi Organic Industries for a Low Temperature Evaporation (LTE®) system. This project aligns with the facility's Zero Liquid Discharge strategy, highlighting a trend towards enhanced water recovery in industrial operations.

Spray Engineering Devices Limited (SED) will manufacture and supply a 100 KLD Low Temperature Evaporation (LTE®) system for Laxmi Organic Industries' Dahej facility in Gujarat. This system is part of a Zero Liquid Discharge strategy, employing Mechanical Vapour Recompression (MVR) technology to treat wastewater with high concentrations (inlet TDS of 106,000 ppm and COD 95,000 ppm) and recover up to 77,000 litres of clean water daily.
The project underscores the industry's shift towards sustainable practices as regulations tighten, emphasizing the need for energy-efficient technologies. The trend indicates a growing reliance on closed-loop systems to optimize water usage in chemical manufacturing.
