Segro has signed a pre-lease agreement to develop a 50MW data center on the Slough Trading Estate, providing 30,000 sqm of space. Planning permission is already secured. Additionally, Segro received approval for a joint venture with Pure Data Centres Group to build a fully fitted data center in Park Royal, West London, which will have 70MW of utility power and 56MW of IT capacity, expected to be leased to a hyperscaler by May 2025. Segro aims to capitalize on its 2.5GW+ powered land bank and has approximately 500MW of capacity in operation or development around Slough.
